Hailey, Idaho- Yvette M. Cabrito, 34, of Hailey, Idaho, passed away Thursday July 18, 2019, near Picabo, Idaho, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1984, in Turlock, California, the daughter of Joao and Nidia Cabrito. Yvette was raised in California and moved to Idaho last year. She was currently the Activities Director at Silver Creek Assisted Living. Yvette was a beautiful soul and never backed down from a new adventure. She was an outdoor fanatic and enjoyed kayaking, storm chasing and spending time with her wonderful dog, Chloe. She was always looking for the next great adventure.
Yvette was an amazing daughter, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She would always help others no matter the situation. “No, I don’t want to.”, and “Blah.”, in her voice, will never be forgotten.
Yvette is survived by her mother, Nidia Cabrito; her sister, Orlanda Cabrito (Juvenal Tellez); four brothers, Ricky (Sandra) Cabrito, Carlos Cabrito, Frank Cabrito and John Cabrito; 13 nieces and nephews, Isabella, Kevin, Sariah, Sheyenne, Marilia, Natalia, Courtney, Cyntia, Kaytleen, Emily, Frankie, CJ and Christina; and many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Joao Cabrito.
Family and friends may call from 5-9 p.m., Thursday July 25, 2019, at Wood River Chapel, 403 North Main Street, Hailey, and again on Friday at 5:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
