Victoria Tillie Ebert

October 20, 1944 — October 1, 2023

Hailey

Victoria Tillie Ebert passed from this world October 1st in the loving arms of her daughters as they held her close, kissed, loved and prayed with her as she took her final breath. In her daughter's eyes, although she suffered chronic illness, she was still taken too soon. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California October 20th, 1944 to Stanley and Cecilia Babiarz. Sadly, at the tender age of six with two younger sisters, she lost her own mother and this changed the trajectory of her life. At the age of 16, she married David Ebert and subsequently gave birth to three children before the age of 19. She had her fourth child 10 years later. She dabbled in many activities such as arts and crafts, horseback riding, sailing, tennis, and even obtained her nursing degree and pilots license. However, they did not hold her interest for too long until moving on to the next adventure. She left Atlanta, Georgia and spent several years in Stanley, Idaho where she enjoyed the life of a mountain woman getting entangled in shenanigans not to be mentioned here. She spent the last 12 years living in the Wood River Valley and loved calling this her forever home. She was employed in many different venues from politics to community events, property management and caregiving. She was beautiful, vivacious, intelligent, extravagant, electric, eccentric and fun. She was an avid reader and could discuss any topic with anyone......and was always right of course!  She was quite humorous and always had her family laughing at her opinions and testaments. Until her health declined she loved socializing with her family, friends and Senior Connection members. She loved her children, friends, though was deeply in love and devoted to her dog Keisha and her grandson Andrew Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Connie, her son David Jr. her son in law Andy Garratt and several wonderful friends. She is forever missed and survived by her daughter Debbie Garratt , Tricia Levesques Garcia (Carlos) Son Christopher Ebert (Lana), grandchildren Andrew Garratt Jr., Nicholas Robertson (Kara), Andrew Ebert (Calvin), Alison Ebert, Anna Grace Ebert (Cameron) Madison Kate Ebert, great grandchildren Carter and Rory, sister Patti Moore, many other nieces and nephews and her caregiver Brenda. We will celebrate her life at a later date. Our deepest love and gratitude to all who loved our precious mother.
