Sharon Ann Bridge (Madson)

November 5, 1942 — June 30, 2021

Sharon Ann Madson Bridge, of Sun Valley ID, transitioned on June 30, 2021, after an 8-month battle with cancer. She was taken from this life too soon. She passed peacefully in her home where she lived for the past 25 years; her cherished dog Lucy was by her side. Sharon was born in Hawley, MN November 5, 1942. She joins her late husband Jason Keezer Bridge, “Chick” who died on July 4, 2012, and her parents William Burton Madson and Orpha Adeline Madson. Sharon is survived by her brother Bill Madson, his wife Yvonne, and their twin children Max and Allie; her three stepchildren, Lyman Bridge and his wife Jamie and two children Lilianna and Parker; Tracy Barry and her husband Mike Cresta and their four children John, Cory, Alycia, and Maverick; and Ty Bridge and his wife Victoria and three children Alex, Darren, and Elizabeth.

Sharon moved to Pasadena with her parents in 1945, where she grew up with her brother under the Southern California sun. Sharon attended Pasadena City College and was in the Chi Theta sorority.

Sharon took up residence in Sun Valley in 1983. Sharon cherished the Sun Valley life of outdoor adventures: hiking with her beloved shelties, skate skiing at Galena Lodge, skiing, golf and enjoying the local entertainment (she was a staple at the Joe Cannon show over the years). Sharon simply loved life with her many dear friends and family, her smile and laughter were contagious and would brighten anyone who was blessed to be around her. Sharon was a flight attendant for United Airlines for 31 years and enjoyed sharing her love of travel around the world with her friends and family.

There are many stories of laughter and joy throughout the years which we know will live on through all of us who have known, loved, and loved being with Sharon. A celebration of life is being held July 15 from 4-7PM at the Harker Center in Elkhorn. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice & Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley or Mountain Humane of Hailey, ID.
