Hailey

Pamela Kay Burgess Maughan, lovingly known as Pammy K, age 68, left this world peacefully at home from natural causes on December 12, 2024. Born on July 1, 1956, to Keith and Angela Burgess, Pam’s career was primarily in cosmetology and barbering, where she made a lasting impact on her customers. Following in her father’s footsteps, she graduated from Mr. Juan’s Hair College and became an instructor, eventually becoming part owner of her father’s business, The Perrine Barber Shop.

In her journey of love and partnership, Pam met Bob Zuck, the love of her life. Their bond was remarkable, filled with laughter, companionship, and shared dreams. Together, they built a beautiful life in Hailey, Idaho, where Pam became part owner of A Cut N’ More until her retirement in 2020.

Pam often spoke of how grateful she was to have Bob by her side and how much she cherished their time together. Pam was not only a skilled barber but also an incredibly artistic and creative individual. She poured her heart into her work and was known for her generosity in helping others, exemplified by her creation of “The Cinderella Project,” which provided dresses, jewelry, hair, and makeup for girls so they could attend prom.

Pam was a proud grandma, affectionately known as “Goose Goose,” to seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her baby sister, Cynthia Marie; her father, Keith; and her nephew, Justin. Pam is survived by her beloved partner of 16 years, Bob; her daughters, Tiffany, Timbra, and Tiffany Marie; her son, Ryan; her grandchildren, McKinzee, Andrew, Holden, Cayden, Timbra, Abigail, and Jayven; and her great-grandchildren, Korsen and Emberlyn. She also leaves behind her mother, Angela; sisters Paula Burgess, Vikki Burgess, and Teresa Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Pam’s wishes, no formal service is planned. The family will host an informal gathering to celebrate her life at a later date.

Pam touched our lives with her big heart, bright blue eyes, and beautiful smile. We will miss you so much, dear Pammy Kay. 💕
