Life Story for
Matthew Evan Organist
Matthew Evan Organist entered this world on July 1, 1977 and went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2014. He was born and raised in the Wood River Valley where he graduated Wood River High School and went on to marry his sweet heart, Angela Hamblin. Matt and Angie became the proud parents of three precious children, Cassidy, Jordan and Christopher.
Matt enjoyed sports, making baseball and football a constant part of his young life. If Matt wasn’t playing he was coaching. He coached Little League baseball and flag football for the young athletes in the Valley. Matt was always on the road in the summer going to games and supporting his team in the way that only Matt could do. When he wasn’t coaching and cheering for his boys (sons included) he was attending cheerleading competition in which his daughter was a competitor. He enjoyed hunting and camping with his family and did so as much as time would allow. Matt was a huge Denver Broncos fan and Boise Broncos as well. Things were blue and orange in Matt’s world.
Matthew became an electrician and really enjoyed working with electricity.
Matthew is survived by his wife, Angela Organist; three lovely children, Cassidy, Jordan and Christopher; his loving parents, Nancy Mayne (Jim Mayne), Richard Organist; brother Earl; grandmother Theresa Organist; grandfather Jean Organist, and was preceded in death by Earl and Ruth Wall.
