Meredith Moon

Meredith Bradshaw Moon, age 100, died May 25, 2010. She was born November 27, 1909 in Dryden, NY, a small village near Ithaca, NY. Her parents were Edna Wheeler Lamont and Bruce Lamont. She had one sister, Lorraine Lamont, who died in 2006. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Stewart Williams in 1928 and they were married for 55 years. They had two children, Diana Williams Landis of Hailey, Idaho and Charles Bruce Williams (deceased) of LaGrange Park, Illinois. She outlived her husband Stewart and later husbands Thomas Bradshaw and Lewis Moon.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Mary O’Shea Williams of Lisle, Illinois and grandchildren Robert Bruce Landis (Amy) of Hailey, ID, Laurie Landis Long (Paul) of Seattle, WA, Susan Landis (David Johnson) of Ithaca, NY, Martin Williams (Mona) of Frisco, Texas, Kate Williams McCabe (John) of Lisle, IL, Allison Williams Sawyer (Ralph) of Salt Lake City, UT, Sharon Williams Lange (David) of Lisle, IL.
She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Annika Landis, Hailey, ID, Chris, Jamie, and Matt Johnson of Ithaca, NY, Mike, Matt, and Sean McCabe of Lisle, IL, Zach and Alex Lange of Lisle, IL and Megan Williams of Frisco, Texas.
A memorial gathering of her far-flung family will be held in July in Hailey, ID.
