Matthew Dwayne Wildhagen

April 4, 1983 — December 14, 2024

Bellevue

Matt Wildhagen, much loved father, son, brother and friend of many, passed away on December 14, 2024 of a pulmonary embolism. He was the proud owner of Git’Doggonit in Bellevue and his customers fondly remember him for his friendly service and awesome sausage sandwiches. He leaves behind his daughter, Kircheyka, the light of his life, as well as his mother, Linda Miller, siblings Jylinda Phalan, Michael Wildhagen, Tanna Ives, and Ryan Heller, nephew Cormac Phalan, niece Cindel, and Faby Burga-Muro.

Born in Winter Park, FL, Matt lived a joyful, adventurous life filled with the love and defined by service and humility. He graduated from both Colorado State University and Boise State University. After spending 3 years with the Peace Corps in Peru, Matt opened his restaurant in 2021. Matt loved playing the bass guitar, traveling, befriending new people and most of all being a dad to his little girl. He was known for being an outspoken egalitarian, with a quirky sense of humor and being continually in motion. Memorial to be held at a later date – contact millerlindasusan@gmail.com.
