Jerel Jay Dilworth

Jerel Jay Dilworth left his life here on Earth for Heaven's door June 29th, 2024 peacefully in his childhood home with his wife Leslie at his side. Jay (as he was known by) was born January 31st, 1951 to Stan and Ann Dilworth in Carey, Idaho. Jay was the fifth born child, and he spent his time growing up at his dads side. He learned many things from construction and building, to his love for cars and mechanics. Jay was a master craftsman in woodwork and concrete. He graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Washington. He attended trade schools for welding and electrical. Jay was a perfectionist in everything he ever did. Jay loved everything outdoors such as 4-wheeling, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and everything in between. He loved talking to everyone and creating memories with loved family and friends in every moment of life. Survived by his wife Leslie Dilworth, Jay has three children and eight grandchildren, followed by two great grandchildren. Brant and his wife Theresa, and their children Hailey, Sean, and Ellie. Zackery and his wife Tammi with their children Trinity and Zackery Dilworth. LaDawn McNutt and her husband Adam and their sons Kentaro and Addison McNutt and their daughter Luna McNutt. His two great grandkids William and Arianna. Jay was survived by his siblings Corienne Marks, Bryan Dilworth (Kelly), Kerry Dilworth (Debra ), Kevin Dilworth , and Trudy Bockoven (Kurt). Jay preceded in death with his parents Stanley Howard Dilworth and Ann McNiel Dilworth, with his brother Stanley Reid Dilworth and sister Clara Dilworth Perry. Jay also joins his grandson Sean Spangler (12/27/14-06/20/2024). Hold Grandpa's hand tight for us. 

Services will be at the Rodeo Grounds Pavilion, Carey, Idaho on July 19th, 2024 at 11 AM with lunch to follow. There will be a memory book for any sayings, jokes, or special memories you would like to share. Graveside at a later date TBA
