Irene Farnworth (Clark)

Irene Farnworth, 101, native of Carey, Idaho, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father in Twin Falls, Idaho on Monday, 9 Aug 2021.

Alice Irene Clark was born on 6 Sept 1919 in Carey, ID to Joseph and Alice Clark. Irene was the fourth of five children. In 1937 she married her sweetheart Wilbur Glen Farnworth and together they raised their three children: Eugene, Lynn, and Ina.

Irene was a loving soul who mothered and grandmothered all who walked through her door. She was always ready with a cold pop and tasty treat on hand. A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she lived her faith through her Christlike love of others.

Irene is survived by her son Lynn, daughter Ina, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur, son Eugene, and her four siblings.

Graveside services were held Thursday, August 12, 2021 where she was laid to rest beside her husband in the Carey Cemetery
