Carla Ann Roche’ was born on Feb. 12, 1943 in Lynwood, California and passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center at 2am on Dec. 23, 2019.
She has been a resident of the Wood River Valley since 1977.
Over the 42 years she was here: she has worked at the Western Cafe in Ketchum, she did room service at the LIFT Motel, and she worked for Zodiac Expressions of Sun Valley as a glass blower making glass oil candles. After a short break she moved on to working at Atkinson’s in Bellevue until her COPD got to be too much for her.
She is survived by her daughter Cristy Face of Grangeville, Idaho; her son Alan Timothy Burke of Brooksville, Florida; her daughter Carry Burke Brown of Yreka, Calif.; and her son Adam Spiking of Hemet, Calif. She is also survived by her sister Gayla Roche’ Kilbride of Brooksville, FL, a half-sister Lori Roche’ Ebert and a half -brother Randy Clifford Roche’.
Carla’s last wishes as told to her sister was, “Tell everyone I love them.”
