Life Story for Thomas A. "Tom" Bernam
Tom Bernam, 49, of Hailey, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 16, 2013.
He was born July 13, 1964 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the son of Florian and Doris Bernam.
Tom grew up in Milwaukee, WI and has lived in Hailey for the past 23 years. During that time he has worked as a cook in area restaurants including Perry’s and the Sawtooth Club.
Tom loved music, especially Led Zeppelin, and he loved playing the guitar, music trivia and scary movies.
His memory lives on in the hearts of lots of friends and family, including his daughter Ashley and granddaughter Amara Ruiz of Hailey; two sons, Michael Bernam of Arizona and grandchildren Vincent Bernam and Zoe Barret-Bernam of Hailey, and Jeremy Bernam of Hailey; and his girlfriend Debbie Matranga and her daughter Amanda of Hailey.
Tom’s parents preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Wood River Chapel in Hailey. Friends are also invited to visit www.woodriverchapel.com to leave a message, share a photo or story, or to light a candle.
