Our beloved mother and grandmother Annette Weber passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own bed, south of Bellevue, on May 25, 2023, surrounded by her children.
Annette was born in 1957 in Denver, Colorado, where she later started her family with her husband, Steven Weber. Brock came first in 1980 and then Gretchen in 1982. Annette cherished her family and was completely devoted to them, including by venturing north when fortune brought us all to the Wood River Valley in 1991. New lights of her life came in 2016 with the birth of her grandson, Hudson, and in 2019 with the birth of her granddaughter, Elowen, giving her the proud title of “Bubbe.”
Annette was the spiritual and emotional leader of the family. She was an amazing empath—acutely feeling the pain or joy of others, whom she always put ahead of herself. She was loving, kind, generous, wise, adventurous, funny, a trickster, beautiful, graceful, strong, brave, and fiercely protective of her pack. She will be missed beyond words.
Annette was preceded in her journey to the great beyond by her mother, Shirley Troyan; and brother, Edward Krahn. She is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Weber (Casey); son, Brock Weber (Alissa); grandson, Hudson Weber; granddaughter, Elowen Weber; and sister, Kim Hatter.
There will be a private celebration of life later this summer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Wood River Valley or to the Senior Connection in Hailey.
