Condolences

Condolence From: Scott Knowles
Condolence: Ben, I find myself in shock today. I had the pleasure and opportunity to spend my childhood living next door to you. You were like a second father who helped shape my life. I remember spending many evenings eating steak and potatoes on your deck talking. Hanging out on the weekends helping you with yard work, washing the cars, playing with Tank and Dinkey. As I got older you opened the door to let me come work for Bradshaw in my first sales job, teaching me the importance of treating people the right way and always smiling. You helped shape my life as a businessman and a father today! I am so sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you how much you meant to me. You will always be in my heart and as I move through life, just know a piece of you will always be there, you are part of who I am. Thank you for the time you gave me!

Condolence From: Howard King
Condolence: Sorry to hear about Ben’s passing. He and I grew up in that small town of Wendell where his family owned Bradshaws Honey and featured ‘Sponney Spread’. My favorite was ‘Cinnamon’! I still maintain contact with Ben’s cousin, Gary “Gears’, with whom I enjoy many shared memories. I will never forget Ben’s Aunt Robertson who was my 4th grade teacher and his grandpa R,W, Bradshaw who could blow pebbles out of his fist and then find them again behind our ears! When the family sold the business to Souix Bee, it was a sad time for our little community. So-long Ben, hope to see you again!

Condolence: As a "New Boy" at Kemper Military School in 1959-60, I rode the train out of Shoshone with "Benny" to Kansas City. I have fond memories of that time at Kemper and rides with Ben. My condolences to his family.

Condolence From: Bonita A Hepworth
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss, Although I was a few years older than Ben, I remember his Mother and Father very well, and still have nice visits with his mother, a very remarkable family. I remember the business they were in while in Wendell and a great asset to the community. With deepest sympathy to all. Bonita Feckner Hepworth

Condolence From: Loretta O'Connell
Condolence: I am so sad for the death of Ben. What a joyous person he was. I have not seen him for many years, but have fond memories of times together growing up in Wendell....it seems he lived a full life but much too short. I send my condolences to Myrle and Doug specifically but to all the family. I wish I could be there to celebrate Ben.
