Life Story for Debra Marie Dupuis

Debra Marie Dupuis
Debra “Debbie” M. Dupuis, 63, passed away peacefully November 25, 2017, at St. Luke's Boise, surrounded by her family that loves her dearly. She was the cherished wife of Thomas Dupuis. They shared nearly forty years of marriage, and lovingly raised their two children together.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Louis and Pietrina Sanfelippo DeMore on August 10, 1954. Debbie spent much of her life living in Wisconsin, while spending the last nineteen years living in Idaho, a state whose endless beauty and wildlife were greatly appreciated by Debbie. She was a life long animal lover, who cared deeply about animal conservation, and the preservation of their natural habitat. Because of her admiration of Idaho's breathtaking scenery, her final resting place will be in the small town of Hailey, Idaho.

She was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Boise Idaho, and previously attended mass at the Holy Family Parish in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Her faith was an important part of her life, and provided her great comfort during both of her battles with cancer. The last of which she fought tirelessly, but was discovered far too late for any person to conquer.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Tom Dupuis and their dog Lilly. Her two children, Paul Dupuis and Shelly Dupuis-Flatt, their spouses Dorothy Dupuis and Benjamin Flatt. Her mother, Pietrina DeMore, brother Steve DeMore, and his partner Nancy Lococo. Her four grandchildren, Colton Jones, Allie Jones, Shyla Jones, and Casey Flatt. Casey Flatt and his wife Alyssa Flatt have a beautiful baby girl named Rae that Debbie loved seeing photos of. Debbie had an amazing group of in-laws that she loved, and who loved her back immensely; mother-in-law Mary Dupuis, Tess & John Fleissner, Marie Dupuis and Peter Westergard, Larry and Jo Dupuis, and Uncle Paul Dupuis. Debbie was an aunt to Chris Fleissner, Laura and Emi Fleissner, Sam and Betsy Dupuis, Nicholas and Natalie DeMore. A great aunt to two wonderful babies; Finn Freeman, and Ryan Knight.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at St. Charles Catholic Church followed by the interment at Hailey Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin around mid-December with the details pending. Feel free to light a candle and share memories and photos at www.woodriverchapel.com.
